  its going to be a real beautiful place when its finished.. they are going for quality over quantity.

  it used to be accommodation for a few thousand permanent residents, now its looking like less than a thousand permanent with the possibility of a few thousand more in temporary accommodation should the need arise.. some say the plans are going to be like a garden of eden in england :) i mean they had farming in london over the years but this is going to be epic what they are planning for temple farm at chelmsford.. they are planting thousands (literally) of fruit trees, including tropical fruits in huge green houses, huge vines yards and then the same basic farming activities as before.

  #2 - Demand that they give your husband the name/s of his accuser/s, and tell them straight that you do not dignify someone's gossip by replying to it. Your husband should tell them that he wants to follow the Scriptural counsel on how to resolve this misunderstanding. (Matthew 5:23,24 & Matthew 18:15)

  #3 - If they try to assert "their" involvement in the matter, your husband should respond by telling them that he will write to the Service Department at Bethel to ask for their opinion on how this should be properly dealt with, and he does not want to discuss it further until he's received their guidance!

  Don't give these idiots any information whatsoever - because they will pervert it and turn it against you both.

  we let the qualified buyers participate in a competitive bidding process and see where the market goes with it, devine told the eagle.. doesn't this logic reflect the same expectation of gambling or buying a lottery ticket?

  you don't know if you are going to win big or if you're just going to come out even or lose your $1 investment.. how do they know there's not going to be another market or housing crash the next day and get pennies for their properties?.

  how can they honestly say: "...see where the market goes with it" and at the same time condone other for playing lottery tickets or gambling or leaving things to chance like not getting higher education.

  Finkelstein - when all the evidence is put together, logically there can be only 2 reasonable explanations for the Org's fleece-ripping of the sheep, the dramatic cutbacks in magazine/literature production & distribution, and crucially, the sacrificing of so many full-time servants; they have either carried them out willingly, (to boost finances for some obscure reasons) or an external factor is compelling them to kill the goose which has been giving them their golden eggs.

  If all of this is the result of a "business plan" simply for greed, then I offer my sincere congratulations to the Brooklyn puppet-masters for their self-inflicted pains, and helping so many J.W.'s to waken up and smell the coffee.

  I've never known another multi- billion dollar business to cut it's own throat as overtly as this. (My 2 cents)

  i can't remember hearing a single dub try to defend this idiocy.

  I would have asked her what she thought about Job 42:16 "After this Job lived for 140 years, and he saw his children and his grandchildren—four generations." (Also Matthew 1:17)

  140 divided by 4 = 35. Jesus said "this generation", (Matthew 24:34) and within 33-36 years, that generation saw what he'd predicted.

  Shunning ? did JEHOVAH shun Satan ?

  i don`t know if this has been addressed before , however it appears there is an inconsistency and a big one at that with the practice of shunning with jw`s.

  elders / ministerial servants look out for the spiritual health of the congregation , and if they see something they feel is detrimental to the spiritual health of the congregation they are going to act to rectify it, .

  they take appropiate action where they think is necessary .

  Not only did God continue to speak with the original apostate Satan, Christ himself spoke directly to Satan, and thereafter, spoke to his former spiritual brothers - the apostate angels (demons) on more than one occasion.

  Even more relevant (IMO) is the fact that the Gospel accounts provide ample proof that throughout his ministry, Jesus never ceased having conversations about the scriptures with the apostate scribes & Pharisees, whom he condemned in no uncertain terms! (Matthew 23:1-36) He even allowed one to come and visit him and have a Bible discussion! (John 3:1-21)
